Well deserved blue sky beach day
Team excel on survival island
Thursday July 19th 2012
It would seem that the poor weather that the pupils endured on our mountain expedition has proved to be the making of this team. After an outstanding performance on a breezy and cold survival island last night it seems only fair that they should be treated to blue skies and warm summer sunshine on the beach today. A chance to relax and reflect before heading home.
I don't think that this strong performance on the island has come about through luck or good fortune, but by the shared experiences on a wet and windy mountain at the start of the week. Although maybe not pleasant at the time, it is only when truly challenged, and challenged together as a team, that the pupils can appreciate what they are capable of.
Its been a great week for us here and we have really enjoyed the company of the staff and pupils.
