Blue skies for beach day
Thursday July 18th 2013
The blue skies that have eluded us for the last couple of days have returned just in time for beach day.
We picked the pupils up from survival island in the boats at 7am this morning and returned to the Adventure School for a hearty cooked breakfast. The bleary eyes were rubbed out and with the input of breakfast came the output of stories from their overnight experience.
The mist that has stayed low over the sea loch for the last two days began to lift as the pupils walked along the track for the short drive to the beach at Oldshoremore. Swimming, body boarding, beach cricket and blitzball. A chance to relax on the beautiful empty golden sands before returning to home to Surrey, and reflect on their week of challenges.
