Blues summit Ben Stack

Tuesday May 20th 2014

There was a bit of overnight rain for the Blues at the bothy but it had cleared by the morning and a good breeze kept the teams cool under blue skies for their ascent. Another great day for the teams on the mountain, with all three Blue teams reaching the summit in good time. Mr Gerry now a double summiteer on consecutive days!

The Red 'Flags' and 'Hot Chilli Peppers' sea kayaked today on Loch A Chadh-Fi also adding to their survival skills, pulling up lobster creels and stopping at Ardmore to see John Ridway's 1966 Atlantic Rowing Boat.

Lasagna and sticky toffee pudding refuelled the teams this evening at the Adventure School as the blue skies gave way to early evening drizzle. The pupils are well and full of beans. Survival island tomorrow night!
