Beach day today followed by 'survival island'

Rain clears leaving blue skies and a nice breeze

Thursday August 7th 2014

Last nights rain has cleared as forecast and the grey clouds lifted and dispersed as we took the short journey to the beach at Oldshoremore. A chance to relax after a few quite intense days, swim, body board and play beach games. The sun was soon out and the mile long stretch on golden sands was pretty much empty.

Back then for a cup of tea and a biscuit before heading out to survival island. Near perfect weather for the team tonight, to put everything they have learned into practice. It will be a quick turnaround tomorrow morning and a hearty breakfast before the coach whizzes the team back to Inverness! They have been a great bunch to have here.
