St John’s Blue Team high above the Adventure School this evening
St Johns Leatherhead and Craigclowan Prep
St John’s arrive at Ardmore
Saturday July 16th 2016
We have two small teams from different schools here with us this week. St Johns Leatherhead are here again with Year 9 and 10 for a mountain expedition and sea kayaking based week and Craigclowan Prep are here for the first time with a small team for a Prep School Adventure week. There will be updates here for each of the two teams across the week on different entries.
Great to welcome another team from St Johns here late this afternoon just in time for supper. After macaroni cheese with a variety of salads, and a slab of chocolate cake for pudding the team set off to a high point above the Adventure School. It is a great vantage point with 360 degree views of all the places we will explore this week and whilst the mountains were shrouded in cloud there were beautiful views out across the Atlantic with shafts of light through the clouds far out at sea.
With slight flight delays this afternoon meaning that we missed out on the traditional arrival swim the pupils will be up at 7am to brave the waters of Loch A Chadh-Fi.
More news here in due course!
